es to James Hendricks For Pt of L 3 in B 5 addition
This Indenture and Made and entered into this twenty second day of June one thousand eight hundred and forty two between and his wife of the county of and State of of the one part and James Hendricks of the county of and aforesaid of the other part, Witnesseth that the said and his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Sixty two Dollars to them in hand paid the reciept whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby grant bargain sell, Convey, and confirm unto the said James Hendricks his heirs and assigns for ever all that Tract or parcel of Land situate and being in the county of In the state of viz, commencing three Rods East of the South west corner of Lot No three in Block No five in ’s addition to thence North to the North line of said Lot thence East four and a half Rods thence South across said Lot to Young Street thence West four and a half Rods to the beginning Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining To have and to hold the above described premises unto the said James Hendrick [Hendricks] his heirs and assigns forever and the said and his wife their heirs and assigns the aforesaid premises unto the said James Hendricks his heirs and assigns against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever do and will warrent and forever defend by these presents.
In Testimony Whereof the said and his wife of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year first above written.
