& to Lot No 81 Block No 1 A[ddition] Ex
This Indenture made and entered into this the second day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three between and his wife of the one part and of the other part both of the County of and State of Witnesseth That the said and his wife for and in consideration of the sum of eighty dollars in hand to them paid the recipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby grant, bargain, sell, confirm and convey unto the said his heirs and assigns forever a certain lot of Land situated and being in the City of Hancock county, State of Illinois known and designated as in ’s Addition to the town of in said county and state aforesaid being one acre of land lying in the extreme North East corner of Lot No 81 in Block No 1 in said Addition to the town of measuring Sixteen Rods West from the above named corner, on the north Boundary line of the above named lot No 81 to a corner; and from the two above named corners due South ten Rods enclosing one acre of Land. Together with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining: to have and to Hold the above named premises unto the said his heirs and assigns forever against the claim or Claims of all and every person or persons whomsoever, do and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. In witness Whereof the said and his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals the day and year above written.

Before me a Justice of the Peace within and for said personally came and the above named Grantors and acknowledged the signing and sealing of the above Deed to be their voluntarily<y> act for the use and purposes therein mentioned And the said being examined by me separate and apart from her said and the contents of the said Deed being fully made known to her, declared that she did voluntarily sign, seal, and acknowledge the same and that she is still satisfied therewith
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Eleventh day of July AD, 1843.
