I. a Justice of the peace in and for the said do certify that and his wife whose signatures appear to the foregoing Deed and who are personally known to me to be the persons described in and who executed the same did severally acknowledge that they had executed the said conveyance for the uses and purposes therein mentioned And the said having been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said Deed and examined seperate and apart from her said acknowledged that she had executed the same and relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed, voluntarily, freely, and without compulsion of her said In Testimony Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty fourth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty four

Know all men by these preesnts that we and Jane [Howe] his wife and Moses Adams husband of the said Fanny and Freeman Tupper husband of the said , heirs of the Estate of deceased all of the county of in the State of of the first part and of the and aforesaid Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred dollars to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Have bargained, sold, and quit claimed and by these presents do bargain, sell, and quit claim unto the said party of the second part her heirs or assigns forever. all our, and each of our right, title, interest, Estate, claim, and demand, both at Law and in Equity, and as well in possession as in expectancy of, in and to all that certain tract or parcel of land situate and being in the county of in the State of and described on the plat of the city of in and aforesaid as a part fractional Lot No (4) four in Block No (24) in ’s addition to and bounded as follows. Beginning at a stake at the South East corner of said Lot thence North Seventy one feet to a stake; thence West seven Rods and five feet to a stake thence South Seventy one feet to a Stake, thence East Seven Rods and fife five feet to the place of beginning. With all and singular the heredetaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining In witness whereof we and Jane his wife and Moses Adams husband of the said Fanny, and Freeman Tupper husband of the said heirs of the Estate of deceased, party of the first part have hereunto set their hands and seals this the fourth day of February AD 1846
