I, a Justice of the Peace, in and for said , do certify that Joseph Smith, whose signature appears to the foregoing deed, and, who is personally known to me to be the person described in, and who executed the same, did acknowledge that he had executed the said conveyance for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. Know all men by these presents that Ethan Kimball of the county of , and State of , has this day for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars in hand paid by of the County of and State of , bargained and sold unto the said , a certain lot or peices of land lying and situated in s addition to in said and last mentioned, as will more fully appear by refference to the plat of said addition, being lot No. 81 in block No. one in said addition to them Town of . also Lot No Eighty two (82) in Block No one (1) in said addition to the town of — To have and to hold the above described lots or pieces of land with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the said his heirs and assigns forever. And the said Ethan Kimball for himself his heirs and assigns administrators and executors, do warrant and forever defend the title of the lot or piece of land against every person or persons claiming by, through, or under him in any manner or any other persons whatever. In testimony whereof, he has hereunto set his name and affixed his seal this 31st. day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three
