I. a Justice of the Peace of said , do certify, that and his wife, whose signatures appear to the foregoing deed, and who are personally known to me to be the persons described in, and who executed the same, did severally acknowledge that they had executed the said conveyance, for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. And the said having been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said Deed, and examined separate and apart from her said , acknowledged that she had executed the same, and relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed, voluntarily, freely, and without compulsion of her . This Indenture, made this the fourth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-three. Between and Sary Lovicy [Sarah Louisa] Taylor his wife, of the county of and State of of the first part, and and Margaret Hoagland of the and aforesaid Witnesseth, that the said and Sary Lovicy Taylor for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred Dollars, lawful money of the , to them in hand, well and truly paid by the said and Margaret Hoagland, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, have granted, bargained, sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell, release, convey and confirm unto the said and Margaret Hoagland their heirs and assigns forever. all the following described peices or parcels of land situate in the county of and State of , being part of Lot number fifty eight (58) in Block No two (2) in s addition to , commencing at the South East corner of said lot, running thence Eleven Rods and two feet, thence North two rods and seven feet, thence East Eleven Rods and two feet, thence South two rods and seven feet, to the place of beginning, all parrallel lines with said lot, be the same more or less. Also Lot No forty eight in Block No five of s addition to , more fully described by refference to the Recorders office at Hancock County, Illinois. Also a part of Lot fifty in Block No four in s addition to bounded as follows, beginning in the Center of the old Carthage Road on the West line of Lot no fifty in Block No four, Running South on said West line nine rods nine feet and a half, thence East Eleven Rods and two feet to the east line of lot No fifty in Block No four, thence north on said East line to the South east corner of Lot No Forty Eight in Block No five in s addition to , thence West along the center of the old Carthage Road to the place of beginning, be the same more or less.
