To the city Council of the City of
Gentleman having understood that those [there?] was a petition in circulation for the purpose of opening kimble Street from Hibbards east line to s West line we the undersi[g]ned petitioners Desire that said Street may not be oponed [opened] this year as we can not see that it will be any particular benefit to the people as it will be closed at both ends and will be considerable Damage to several individuals causing fincing removing buildings &c. &c—
