Greeting. Whereas complaint has been made to me Mayor of the City of in the aforesaid upon the Oath of Wm. Nisewanger that James <​Daniel​> Brown of the & aforesaid did on the 15 <​14​>th. Inst wilfully & maliciously take in the City of nine or ten Cotton-wood Logs & feloniously convey them away & also that one Thomas <​S​> Edwards was aiding and abetting in said removal of said Logs. These are therefore to command you to take the said James <​Daniel​> Brown if he be found in your or if he shall have fled [p. [1]]
