This day again came the People aforesaid by Esq who prosecutes in this behalf. and the Said defendants as well in their proper persons as by their attornies and also came at the same time the Jury impannelled herein heretofore to wit, Jabez A Beebee [Beebe], Frederick M. Walton, Silas Griffitts, James Geddings, Jonathan Foy, Joseph Massey, William Smith, Joseph M Jones, William Robertson, Jesse Griffitts, Solomon J. Hill and Gilmore Callison. And the testimony upon the part of the prosecution, not being, closed. And there not being sufficient time to conclude the trial on to day the further proceedings herein were ordered to be postponed until tomorrow morning. And the Said Jurors were thereupon ordered to be kept by the Said , Separate and apart from all other persons. and without Speech with any unless it be with the Said Elisors but to be provided with necessary meat and drink, fire, candle and bedding in Some private and Convenient place in the said Town of . and again returned into Court at Seven oclock tomorrow morning to which time this cause is Continued [p. 278]
