This day again came the parties Plaintiffs and defendants by their respective attorneys, and the said defendants also in their proper persons, as well as the Jurors empannelled, elected and sworn herein as aforesaid, and the arguments of counsel having closed on both sides, and the Jury having received the instructions of the court as asked for, by the Defendants counsel, retired at half past Eleven Oclock in the forenoon, to consider of their verdict, in charge of two , appointed herein as aforesaid, who were <specially> sworn according to Law to attend the said j[ury] in their retirement as aforesaid— and the said Jurors afterwards to wit, at two Oclock in the afternoon returned into court, and delivered the following verdict to wit: “We the Jurors of the Jury find the defendants not guilty as charged in the Indictment. It is therefore considered and adjudged by the court that the said defendants be discharged from all further prosecution herein and . It is further ordered by the Court that the entered into by the said Defendants for their appearance in this case be also discharged [p. [291]]
