Endorse upon the note I hold against you the sum of two hundred and fifty dollars for and in Consideration of receiving the said sum of one hundred and fifty dollars.
I am in want of money at present to Enter Some land in this vicinity upon which I have valuable improvements.
I have attended to the publication of all the facts necessary in your Case in the papers about in this vicinity.
You have many friends in this and vicinity. I hope you will not fail to send me the result of the Election as above requested and more particularly the money. Please accept the assurances of my warmest regard.
