Know all men by these presents that I and Melinda Stewart his wife, of the county of and State of , has this day for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty dollars in hand paid by of the and aforesaid, granted bargained and sold unto the said a certain lot or piece of land lying & situated in s addition to in said and above mentioned, as will more fully appear by refference to the plat of said addition, being a part of the North half of lot twenty five, in Block No Six, in said addition to the town of , bounded as follows, to wit:— commencing with the North West corner of said lot running south with the west line of said lot three chains sixty one and a fourth links, thence East to the centre Warsaw street, thence North with the centre of said street to a stone twenty inches by eight inches placed in the centre of said street, thence west to the starting point, being one hundred and seventy two links.
To have and to hold the above described lot or piece of land with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the said his heirs and assigns forever. And the said and Melinda his wife, for themselves their heirs and assigns, administrators and executors do warrant and forever defend the title of the lot or piece of land against the claims of every, or any person claiming the same in any manner whatsoever.
In testimony whereof we hereunto set our hands & set our seals this the Seventh of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three.

I a Justice of the Peace, in and for said , do certify, that and Melinda his wife, whose signatures appear to the foregoing deed, and who are personally known to me to the persons described in, and who executed the same, and who acknowledged the same to be their free and voluntary act and deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. And the said Melinda Stewart, having been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said deed, and examined seperate and apart from her said , acknowledged that she had executed the same, and relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed voluntarily, freely, and without compulsion of her said .
Given under my hand and seal this seventh day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty three.
