This Indenture made and entered into this sixth day of December [blank] between and Pamelia [Permelia Bundy Dayton] his wife, of the City of , and state of , and of the same place, Witnesseth, that the said and Pamelia his wife, for and in consideration of Forty dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged do hereby grant bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto the said his heirs and assigns forever, one certain fractional Lot of land lying and situated in the East half of Lot (46) forty six, in Block (5) five, of ’s second addition to the city of , the boundary of which fractional lot, is as follows, to wit: beginning at the South East corner of a fraction sold to Charles H. Cooley, thence south along the lot line between the said Lot (46) and a Lot owned by to the centre of Munson street, thence West along the centre of Munson street to the centre of Arlington street, thence North unto the South west corner of the fraction owned by said Charles H. Cooley, thence East to the place of beginning, it being on the East line of said lot forty six, be the same more or less.
With all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining, to have and to hold, the above described premises unto the said his heirs and assigns forever. And the said and Pamelia his wife, the aforesaid premises against the claim or claims of all and every person whomsoever do and will forever warrant and defend by these presents.
In testimony whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this 26 day of December A. D. 1844.

I a Justice of the peace for the City of in said , do hereby certify that and Parmelia his wife whose signatures appear to the foregoing Deed, and who are personally known to me to be the persons described in, and who executed the same, did severally acknowledge that they had executed the said conveyance for the uses and purposes therein mentioned. And the said Parmelia Dayton having been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said deed and examined seperate and apart from her said , acknowledged that she had executed the same and relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed, voluntarily freely and without compulsion of her said .
Given under my hand and seal this 26th. day of december A. D. 1844
