I a Justice of the Peace in and for the said , do certify that and Sarah his wife whose signatures appear to the foregoing Deed and who are personally known to me to be the persons described in and who executed the same did severally acknowledge that they had executed the said conveyance for the uses and purposes therein mentioned And the said Sarah Warrington having been by me made acquainted with the contents of the said Deed and examined seperate and apart from her said acknowledged that she had executed the same and relinquished her dower to the premises therein conveyed voluntarily freely and without compulsion of her said . In testimony Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this Second day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty-five

Know all men by these presents that and Elizabeth his wife of the county of and State of have this day for and in consideration of the sum of twenty five dollars in hand paid by John Brown of the and aforesaid, bargained and sold unto the said John Brown a certain lot or piece of groun <land> lying and situated in s addition to in the and above mentioned as will more fully appear by reference to the plat of said addition being part of lot No 72 in Block No 2 in said Addition to the town of To Wit: Beginning on the west line of said Block No two eight was south of the centre of Young Street thence South thirty-three feet thence East ten Rods thence north thirty three feet thence West ten Rods to the place of Beginning be the same more or less To Have and to Hold the above described lot or piece of land with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging to him the said John Brown his heirs and assigns forever and the said and Elizabeth his wife for themselves their heirs assigns administrators and Executors do warrant and forever defend the title of the lot or piece of land against every person or persons claiming by through or under them in any manner or any other person whatever. In testimony whereof they have hereunto set their names and affixed their seals this 20th day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty five.
