Ohio January 30th 1836
At a conference of the Presidency of the church of the Latter Day-Saints, it resolved, that no one be ordained to an office in the Church in without the voice of the several quorums when assembled for church business.
Carried unanimously.
2d Resolved, that , the President of the Elders, be directed to give to the Presidents of the church, a list of the names of the several Elders comprising his quorum and all other Elders in not belonging to any quorum now established. Carried unanimously.
3d Resolved, that be restored to the church in full fellowship on his being rebaptized, and after be ordained to the High Priest-hood. carried unanimously

Council convened in the for the purpose of taking into consideration the subject of ordaining men to the office of Elder and other offices in the Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Opened by singing and prayer.
The following resolutions were offered by the Presidency for discussion.
1st Resolved that no one be ordained to any office in the Church in this stake of Zion at without the unanimous voice of the several bodies that constitute this quorum, who are appointed to do church business in the name of the <​said​> Church. (Viz) The Presidency of the Church and Council. The twelve Apostles of the Lamb. The twelve High Counsellors of . The twelve High Counsellors— [p. 137]
