The High <​Council​> met in the the the <​council​> was organized, President opened by prayer <​& presided​>. The following charge was prefered by Rheube [Reuben] Hadlock against Z. H. Bruister Jane Bruister Collen Bruister. T. H. Dustin & wife Moses R. Harris & wife Eliza Norton Samuel Barnet Jemima Butler O. Duel Butler Roxana Repshier.
The charge was for giving heed to revelations said to be translated from the book of Moroni by Collin Bruister & for entering into a written Covenant different from the articles & covenants of the church of the Latter day saints & following a vain & delusive spirit, the councell voted that two on a side should speak on the case it fell to the lot of No 1-2-3-4 to speak. the writings & revelations kept & rea<​d​> by the accused was presented & read by the , the accused plead not guilty Broth [blank] Felshaw was called forward by the plaintiff & stated as follows that he had visited the accused & laboured with them according to the law of the church he says the accused justified themselves sa[y]ing the church had not lived according to the former revelations & that they considering the High Councill & this in transgression [p. 261]
