Peace and salvation swell the note
Of all the hev’nly throng,

6 With joy the chorus we’ll repeat,
“Glory to God on high;
Good will and peace are now complete
Jesus was born to die!”

7 Hail, Prince of Life, forever hail!
Redeemer, brother, friend!
Though earth, and time, and life should fail,
Thy praise shall never end.
Hymn 78 • The Lord into his garden comes
HYMN 78. P. M.

1 The Lord into his garden comes,
The spices yield their rich perfumes;
The lilies grow and thrive;
Refreshing showers of grace divine,
From Jesus flow to every vine,
And make the dead revive.

2 This makes the dry and barren ground,
In springs of water to abound,
And fruitful soil become;
The desert blossoms like the rose,
When Jesus conquers all his foes,
And makes his people one.
