<Prisones at Columbia.> <26> Sundy 26. I spent at home. & preached.— As The prison[er]s in arrived in <at> county. this their new home in I will give a sket[c]h from s testim[o]ny, “When we arriv[e]d (O P. 1,21, 122, 123, 124, 255) prisoners”
<Letter to J. Bigler><27> Monday 27.th I was at home. O (L. 13)
<prinonens [prisoners] petitind for > <28> Tuesday 28, I was at home. When the Prisone[r]s arrived at Columbia, they applied to for a special term of Court to be hold[e]n for their trials The petition was granted, & the July 1st was at appointed for the sitt[i]ng of the court.
<Joseph to > <29.> Monday 29,—— I was about home until the latter part of the week when I went to in company with my council.
<June.> I continued to assist in making preparati[o]ns to lay our Gr[i]evances before the Gen Governm[en]t, & on the many of the breth[re]n were making their reports of damages sustaind in I wrote as follow

<9> Sunday 9[th] I attended meeting. with my & family at s. Preached
<10> Monday 10. one woman.— I was engaged in study, preparatory, to writing my history.—
<Writing History> <11> Sunday 11, I commenced dictating my history, for my clerke to write. About this time <first house built> , raised the first house buit by the in this place, <it> abo was bui[l]t of Logs, about 25, or 30 rods N.N.E. of my dwelli[n]g. & numberd on on the N.E. Corner of Lot 4, Block 147— of the [Hugh] White purchase. [p. 58]
