Revenue of the , was presented & received, which Report was, that the Bill be rejected, <​&​> which was adopted accordingly, & the Committee then obtained leave to Report a new Bill, and thereupon produced same, which after receiving the usual Readings, & proceedings had thereon, it passed into an Ordinance, entitled, “An Ordinance concerning the publick Revenue of the City of ”.
Adjourned until the next regular Meeting.

The City Council met, by special call of the Mayor at his <​​> Meeting opened by Prayer. Names of the council called. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved.
It was then moved, seconded, & unanimously adopted, that , , & be a special Committee to prepare a Bill relative to the <​for a​> Law <​to regulate Writs​> of , & proceedings thereunder.—
Adjourned until One oClock P. M. Tomorrow.

The City Council met agreeable to adjournment, at same place. Meeting opened by Prayer. Names of the Council called. Minutes of last meeting read and approved.
The Committee to whom it was referred to prepare a Bill for a Law <​to​> regulate Writs of , & proceedings thereunder, brought forward their Report, which was accepted. It was then adopted that the Bill be read the first time.
The Bill was then read the first time.
Adjourned until Ten OClock Tomorrow.— [p. 45]
