Mighty one in the Earth he was a mighty hunter in the land. Wherefore, <​it is said, evn & Nimrod as mighty hunter in the Land &​> he began a Kingdom. <​/​> And & the begining of his Kingdom <​4/​> was Babal, And Enoch <​Eroc​>, & Accad, & Calnach, in the land of Shenar Out of that land went forth Ashur And builded Ninevah & the City Rehoboth And Calah & Resen between Ninevah & Calah the same was a great City. <​/​> And Mizraim begat Ludim & Anam <​5/​> im & Lehabim & Neaphtuhim & Pathusim & Casluhim out of whom came Philistim, & Caphtorim. <​/​> & Canaan And begat <​6/​> Sidon, his first born, & Heth, <​&​> the Sebusite <​Jebusite​>, & the Amorite & Gurgasite & <​the​> Hivite, & the Arkite, & the Sinite, & the Arradite <​Arvadite​>, & the Zemarite, & the Hamathite, And afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad. And the borders of the Canaanites were from Sidon as thou cometh <​comest​> to Gorar unto Gaza; as thou goest to Sodom & Gomorah, And Admah, & Teboiim, even unto Lasha, These were the sons of Ham, after their families, after the same tongue, in their Countries, & in their Nations. <​/​> Unto Shem also, which was the Elder Children were born; And he was the <​7/​> Father of Eber, & even to him were Children born. & And these are the Children of Shem; Eber, & Elam, & Asshur, & Arphaxed, & Lud, & Aram. And these are the Children of Aram; Us, & Hul, & Gether, & Mash, & Arphaxed. <​/​> And Arphaxed begat Salah; & Salah begat <​8/​> Eber; & unto Eber was <​were​> <​born​> two Sons, the name of the one was Peleg the other Sohtan <​Joktan​>. And Peleg was a mighty man, for in his days was the Earth divided. <​/​> And Johtan <​Joktan​> begat Almodad, & Sheleph, & <​9/​> Hazarmaveth, & Jarah; & Hodoram <​Hadoram​>, & Wiel <​Uzal​> & Diktah <​Diklah​>; & Ebal <​Obal​>, & Abram Abrmel <​Abimael​>, & Sheba, & Ophar, & Havilah, Sobaball <​Jobab​> <​all​> These were the Sons of Johtan <​Joktan​> & their dwelling <​was​> from Mesha, <​as​> thou goest unto Sephar, a mount of the East. <​/​> These were the Sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their <​10/​> Nations. these were the families of the Sons of Noah, after their generations, in their Nations; And by these were the Nations divided on the Earth after the flood.

<​1/​> And the whole Earth was of the same language, & of the same speech. And it came to pass, that many Journeyed from the East & as they Journeyed from the East, they found a plain in the land of Shinar; And dwelt there in the plain of Shinar, [p. 33]
