<​11/​> begat Sons and daughters. <​/​> And Terah lived seventy years & begat <​12/​> Abram, Nahor, & Haran. <​/​> Now these were the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, & Haran: & Haran begat Lot. & Haran died before his fathers Terah, in the Land of his <​13/​> nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees. <​/​> And Abram, & Nahor, took them wives: & the name of Abrams wife <​was​> Sarai & the name of Nahors wife, Acibcha <​Milcha​>, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcha, & the fathers Iscah; <​/​> but Sarai was baren, & And she <​14/​> bare no Child. <​/​> & Terah took Abram his Son, And Lot the Son of Haran his Son’s Son, And Sarai his daughterinlaw, his son Abrams wife; And they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; & they came unto Haran, & dwelt there. <​/​> & the days of Terah were two hun<​1​>dred & five years; & Terah died in Haran. <​/​>

<​Ch 12th​> Now the Lord had said unto Abram, get thee out of thy country, & from thy kindred, And from thy fathers house, unto a land that I will shew thee; And I will make of thee a great Nation, And I will bless thee, & make thy name great; & thou shalt be a blessing; And I will bless them that bless thee, And curse them that curse thee <​2/​> And in thee shall the families of the Earth be blessed. <​/​> So Abram departed, as the Lord had spoken unto him; and lot went with him. And Abram was seventy & five years old when he departed out of Haran. And Abram took Sarai his wife, & Lot his brothers Son, & all their Substance that they had gethered, And the Souls that they had gotten in Haran; And they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; And into the land <​3/​> of Canaan they came. <​/​> & Abram passed through the land unto the place of Sichem, unto the plain of Moreh. And the Canaanites were then in the land. And the Lord appeared unto Abram, & said Unto thy seed will I give this land: And there builded he an Altar unto the Lord who appeared <​4/​> unto him. <​/​> And he removed from thence unto a Mountain on the East of Bethel, And pitched his tent, leaving Bethel on the East <​west​>, & Hai was on the east, & there he builded an altar unto the Lord, And called upon the name of the Lord. <​5/​> And Abram Journeyed, going on still toward the south. <​/​> And there was a famine in the land; And Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine became grieve ous in the land.
