No 1 Chapman St Presiding.— Moved by that , take charge of the Millenial Star, for the time being, & carried: voted that our publishing office be removed to , as soon as circumstances will permit, & that Elders & Curtis go where they please to labor. clerk.”

<​10​> Saturday 10 preferred a charge, against Oliver Walker, “For repeating certain slanderous stories of a fallacious and calumniating nature calculated to stigmatize and raise a persecution against the church, & individuals in it. in this place. & for a variety of unchristian like conduct, &c,” before the High Council at : The defendant pleaded that “he was not prepared to meet the charge, it being to[o] indefinite &c.” council adjourned till next day.— Elder returned to & followed soon after.—

Walker plead that he was not prepared to defend himself & the trial was deferred at his request till April conference.
