carest for no man; for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth. Is it lawfull to give tribute to Ceaser, or not? Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he knowing their hypocracy, said <​unto them,​> Why Tempt ye me? Bring me a penny that I may see it. And they brought the penny; and he saith <​said​> unto them, Whose image and superscription is this? And they said unto him, Ceasers. And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Ceaser the things which are Ceasers; and <​6/​> to God the things that are Gods. And they marveled at it. <​6/​> Then came unto him the Saducees, who say that there is no resurection; and they asked him, saying, Master, Moses wrote unto us, in his law, If a mans brother die and leave a wife, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. Now there were seven breatheren; the first took a wife, and dying left no seed. And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed; and the third likewise. And the seven had her, and left no seed; Last of all the woman died also. In the resurection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them, for the seven had <​7​> her to wife? <​7/​> And Jesus answering said unto them, Ye do ere err therefore, because ye know not and understand not the Schriptures, neither the power of God; for when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the Angels of God who are in heaven. And as touching the dead, that they rise; have ye not read in the book of Moses, how in the bush I the God of Abraham how in the bush, God spake unto him, saying, I <​am​> the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? will raise the dead and they shall live He is not therefore the God of the dead, but the God of the living; for he raiseth them <​8​> up out of their graves.
