Ordinance, 12 February 1844–B
An Ordinance to repeal an Ordinance entitled “An Ordinance regulating the Currency[”]
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of that “An Ordinance regulating the Currency” passed March 4th. 1843 be and the same is hereby repealed

Minute Entry, Order, 12 February 1844
A memorial “To the Honorable Senators and Representatives of the in Congress assembled” passed December 21st. 1843 was read, and signed by the Councillors, Aldermen, Mayor and , and the was ordered to procure Sixty Dollars for the purpose of paying the passage of Councillor , as a Special Messenger from the Council to the City of to present said Memorial to the Senators according to the vote of the City Council on said 21st. December 1843. the was ordered to procure the Sixty Dollars on the credit of the , if needs be. The Mayor afterwards offered to give the Sixty Dollars out of his Salary, if the Council would raise the money now. The foregoing Memorial is now on Record in the ’s office.
