Friday May 31. 1844.— 9 A M. orderd a Capias to arrest . for theatnig [threatening] the peac[e] of the .— with Dragoon &c— made affidavit but had gone——
10 AM cal[l]ed at my office & wrote
1 PM. was calld to see sister who was ve[r]y sick laid on hands— directed some Raspbrry tea and she was better.—
2 or 3 indi[a]ns stay in hall over night.— [5 lines blank]
