The High Council and and council met for the purpose of transacting the business of the Church. The Council was organized and opened by prayer of Pres’t. .
Several subjects were discussed by the council when , , and were nominated a committee to take into consideration a certain price for services for the Church, the propriety of proposing to the Church, to pay the Council a certain price for services for the Church when met for that purpose. made a few remarks on another Subject and was followed by pres’t. , The above three were appointed said Committee

was nominated and appointed to sign Lisences of Elders, as, Chairman, and as Clerk And to sign Lisences as Chairman pro Tempore in the absence of Pres’t and , as Clerk pro Tempore in the absence of and as Recording Clerk
was then appointed standing Clerk for the Counsil
Council adjourned for two hours
Council met pursuant to adjournment
requested a hearing in a certain case wherein he had been disfellowshiped before a council of Elders; Charles Hewlet being complainant— dismissed from the council by reccomending to the parties to choose two brethren to assist in settling the difficulty [p. 87]
